At Three Lakes Dental, we will tailor our treatment to fit your needs in a comfortable setting. We also offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oral conscious sedation to help you relax and reduce anxiety.
Nitrous Oxide
Often referred to as laughing gas, is an effective anesthetic that has many benefits for patients seeking relaxed dental treatments. The gas is administered with a comfortable mask placed over the nose, and the patient is instructed to breathe in through this nose piece. After treatment, the patient is given pure oxygen to breath for about five minutes. All effects are reversed, allowing the patient to drive home without an escort.
oral conscious sedation
A combination of oral medications is administered at our office before your appointment. You will achieve a relaxed and drowsy state. From this point on, a member of our dental team is always with you and your vital signs will be monitored throughout the appointment. You are released from your treatment minutes after completion. A companion of your choice must accompany you to your appointment in order to escort you back home.
